While we do everything we can to revitalize or save trees, sometimes they are too diseased or damaged to heal. Dead trees lack the ability to support themselves—so dead trees are often a dangerous liability. Tree removal, especially the removal of large trees, is best handled by a Certified Arborist that is experienced and carries the proper liability insurance. Give us a call today for a free quote.
Regardless of why a tree has fallen or been removed, there is usually a stump left behind that will take some work to eliminate. They can be unsightly in some yards, and they can also be a hazard if people don’t see them. Removal, through grinding, is usually the safest and most affordable way to handle the situation. We will grind out your stump to a 6-8” depth and clean up all debris. Fill in dirt is optional upon request.
A tree, like any other living thing, will respond to its environment. When a tree continues to grow without any restrictions (like natural barriers or trimming), its “posture” will be affected. It will grow asymmetrically, potentially causing safety issues for your home or your neighbor’s home. Overgrowth not only looks unattractive—it’s a liability for your property! Trimming & pruning your shrubs or trees will give your property a clean look that helps your plants grow healthier and stronger.
Whether you need one-time trimming or seasonal care, we can keep your hedges in top shape. Not only does trimming improve the look of your property, but it also keeps your shrubs and hedges in better health. When we trim your hedges, we pick up all the debris and leave your property looking as good as, or better than we found it. Our trimming services can shape your hedges and reduce the height or width as needed. In addition, we remove, dispose of and plant hedges.
Bark Beetle Spraying:
We use a high-pressure spray rig to apply the insecticide (including a sticking agent) to the bark of your pine or spruce trees. Our system allows us to apply the product to the top portions of even the tallest pine and spruce trees, which is important when spraying for pine beetle, as they prefer the top portions of trees. Once the product is dry (1 hour after application), it is safe for people and animals to use the area again. Applications are generally effective for up to 2 months after spraying.
Tree Mauget (Injection):
Using the Mauget method we inject a fungicide that rapidly improves root, stem and leaf growth as disease pressure eases. Addressing problems such as root system damage, ground water concerns, leaching/drainage concerns, rapid availability of elements, frost damage protection and recovery, insect and disease damage recovery.
Deep Root Fertilizing:
Deep root fertilization for trees is a process where you stick a pipe down into the soil about 8-12″ and then, under pressure, squirt fertilizer into the ground. The key nutrients required by the tree are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK)
